Our management team brings together expertise from across the business, helping to support our people, strengthen customer partnerships and drive the company forward for the next generation.
Charlie Coward
Charlie joined the family business in 2007 as Marketing & Export Sales Manager, then moved to Commercial Director in 2011 before being appointed Managing Director in 2018. As joint MD, Charlie leads Sales, Marketing, Building & Facilities as well as the eCommerce, hospitality and retail divisions. Charlie is also a Board Member for the American Brush Manufacturers Association.
Andy Coward
Andy joined the family business as Financial Director in 2016, following positions at Zurich and Deutsche Bank, before being appointed joint Managing Director in 2018. Andy heads up Finance, Operations, IT and Category Management.
Philip Coward
Philip joined the family business in 1974 after graduating with an engineering degree and became Managing Director in 1998. He handed over to Charlie and Andy in 2018 but remains Chairman of the Board as well as being President of the Royal Warrant Holders Association and a Trustee of their Charity Fund.
Gemma Jacobs
Gemma joined Hillbrush in November 2019 having spent the first few years of her career in Practise before gaining 14 years’ experience in manufacturing and retailing. Gemma heads up Finance and Human Resources for Hillbrush, Hillbrush Inc and Visit Hillbrush.
Matthew Piper
Matt joined the Hillbrush team in 2021 as the Product Design & Development Manager and has since moved in to the role of Head of Product. Matts experience spans across a variety of products and sectors, including luxury goods, lighting, and furniture collections.
Ashley Fiddy
With a decade of experience in the hygiene cleaning tools industry, Ashley joined Hillbrush in March 2026 to lead the company’s UK hygiene business. His role focuses on customer partnerships, strategic growth and delivering safe, high-quality hygiene solutions for professional environments.
Sara England
Sara joined Hillbrush in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her time in financial services. Sara heads up Sales and Customer Service for Hillbrush.
Garry Hulbert
Garry Joined Hillbrush in December 2025 to manage and oversee all operational aspects of the business, including Warehousing, Order Processing & Fulfilment, and Product Manufacturing. Garry has a wealth of expertise, having previously holding positions as a Site Operations Manager & Continuous Process Improvement Manager (Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt).
