Metsa Tissue Sustainability Awards 2023

Metsa Tissue Sustainability Awards 2023

Recently, Hillbrush had the honour of attending the 2023 Metsa Tissue Sustainability Awards at the breathtaking Cutty Sark in London. Our Sustainability Manager, Jackie Bragado, and Business Development Manager, Adrian Peck, were there representing Hillbrush and celebrating being shortlisted for the Renewable Energy Award. We're proud to be recognised for our commitment to sustainability and renewable energy.

At Hillbrush, we take sustainability seriously. We recognise that businesses have a responsibility to minimise their impact on the environment and strive for a sustainable future. That's why we're committed to reducing our carbon footprint and implementing sustainable practices across our operations.

One way we're doing this is through our use of renewable energy. In recent years, we've invested in solar panels to generate clean, renewable energy for our manufacturing and office facilities. This has enabled us to reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and significantly reduce our carbon emissions.

But our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop there. We're also exploring ways to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency throughout our operations. This includes initiatives such as recycling programs and process optimisation to minimise material waste.

We recognise that sustainability is a journey, not a destination, and are continuously looking for ways to improve our sustainability efforts. We believe that every small step towards a sustainable future counts and we encourage other businesses to join us on this journey towards a better future for our planet.
