As specialists in the manufacture of hygienic cleaning tools and hygienic shadow boards, Hillbrush has joined The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology, the respected membership organisation for the food industry as a Supporting Company Member (SCM)
Membership of SOFHT is part of Hillbrush’s continued business development in the food industry. The company recently launched a range of premium colour-coded Anti-Microbial cleaning tools, specifically for the high-risk hygiene food manufacturing industries and has appointed former SOFHT Chair and respected food technical expert Catherine Watkinson as its Global Technical Hygiene Specialist.
Supporting Company Membership was set up by SOFHT in 2003 as part of a major drive to enlist the support of larger organisations within the food manufacturing, retailing and related industries. As an SCM, Hillbrush will be involved in providing expert advice on cleaning and hygiene to SOFHT’s members through training and events, conferences and technical committees.
Commenting on becoming a SOFHT Supporting Company Member, Charlie Coward, Managing Director at Hillbrush commented:
“We are delighted to become a new SCM and to contribute to the society. We believe that SOFHT offers a great way to network and keep up to date with the food sector. While Hillbrush’s heritage is in traditional brush-making, food manufacturing is providing an exciting path for our business, so being part of a high-profile food hygiene organisation such as SOFHT and working closely with Catherine Watkinson is essential for our continued expansion in this sector industry.”
