To ensure all areas of the factory floor have all relevant materials, documentation & packaging required for manufacturing, assembly, bagging & packing processes.
To maintain an organised environment providing easy identification of components & other materials for manufacturing processes & resources / activity centres.
To support the movement of raw materials, finished products, & work in progress throughout the facility as required.
To help maintain Preactor, with correct and up to date due dates for sales to give to customers.
To ensure all labels are printed for upcoming jobs
To help plan what jobs are next and what machine will need to be run in what order.
Help print Route cards and picking list,
Help print Labels for jobs, Product labels and box labels for each job.
Liaise with departments, to ensure they have all they need for the jobs ahead.
Help co-ordinate the process before brushmaking (branding, printing, dipping)
Help calculate and generate UPI's. For unforeseen challenges
Cover breaks when needed for all operators in mouldings.
Doing hourly quality checks on product to ensure a high standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties may therefore include but are not limited to the following:
Arrange and support fibre dressing department
Sort work load for fibre dressing
Sort and print works orders and mouldings orders
Support the supervisors & Mangers in all task that are needed
Support with the running of mouldings, informing of any potential problems or issues that are arising
To help maintain a quality and respectful workplace for all
Ensure each member of staff on the mouldings lines have all the stocks / materials, boxes, labels and barcodes they require at the start of each shift;
When moulded parts are going into packing/goods in, ensure all the correct paperwork is put into the packing tray;
Responsible for ensuring all completed work moves from the mould lines either into the packing, warehouse
Responsible for arranging all leftover material / stocks / boxes to be put back into the warehouse when finished
Other requirements when necessary
Pack brushes that have been left on racks for drying;
Assist with and maintain good housekeeping in all manufacturing/mouldings areas;
Identify & report any brushes that have been misplaced or not in the correct locations to the supervisor;
Assist if requested & trained to do so with manufacturing/moulding or in other areas within operations;
Assist if required on branding & printing processes.
Check the plan on a daily basis to see what jobs are needed or completed;
Ensure all picking lists are handed / placed into the correct locations & paperwork kept up to date for all operational processes;
Report any concerns or issues to the line manager in a timely manner.
