Key Role Information

At Hillbrush, we are a family-owned, fourth-generation business renowned for our high-quality cleaning and hygiene products.  Operating from modern premises in Mere, Wiltshire, we are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team in this part-time role.

 

About the Role

 

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting safety checks, and supporting the upkeep of properties owned by the business.

 

 

Working Hours and Benefits  

 

This is a site-based role, working 23 hours per week. Salary £18,871 per annum (FTE £32,000 per annum).

Key Responsibilities

 

Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across the manufacturing facility to ensure minimal downtime
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on equipment, machinery, and electrical systems
Perform regular electrical inspections and safety checks in line with safety regulations
Work closely with the production team to identify electrical issues and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency
Assist with installation of new electrical systems, machinery, and electrical infrastructure
Support electrical maintenance for properties owned by the business
Collaborate with other teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety across all business areas.
 

Skills & Experience

 

Qualified Electrician with experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, and industry best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
