Key Role Information

We are a reputable global company specialising in providing high-quality cleaning and hygiene brushes and cleaning tools. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner in the industry. We are now seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive our growth through securing new business opportunities with global partners.

 

A hybrid role, with the expectation you to attend our site in Mere, Wiltshire one day a week, along with UK and international travel as required.  Working Monday to Thursday 08.30 - 17.15 and Fridays 08.30 - 16.15 with a 45 minute lunch break, (39 hours a week).

 

Starting salary £40k per annum, plus commission (OTE £80k per annum, commission based on net new business, capped at 100% of salary) and company car.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Service team on the most effective process for managing new business leads, ensuring leads are dealt with in a timely manner

 

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services

 

  • Own the end-to-end new business process from lead to initial contact, to proposition design and through to opening, continuing to own the new partner through the first order process

 

  • Attend customer visits, face-to-face, over the phone or Teams, responding with a plan to meet customer needs

 

  • Generate own sales leads in collaboration with Marketing, producing sales campaigns and plans, including a sales pipeline

 

  • Working in close collaboration with Finance and Product teams to ensure the customer solution is profitably priced

 

  • Maintain client records and complete administration, in particular client contracts and tenders
 
  • Attend trade shows, seminars, conferences, and exhibitions.
