Account Executive (Maternity Cover)

Closing Date: 10/08/2017
Salary: Up to £17,200

This is a key role in the business helping to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the UK and International customers, providing excellent sales, customer service and account management to our UK and Export customers. The role is a fixed term contract of 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Entering the sales orders onto the WinMan system in ‘real time’ to provide your customer group with current information
  • Answering the telephone – assisting with phone queries, phone orders or putting the call through to the correct department
  • Liaising with Production and Warehouse staff in order to obtain lead times of out of stock items
  • Proactively promote new products to your customers, to upsell and cross sell where appropriate
  • Raising sales credit notes and manual invoices when required
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Keeping your customer group informed on the progress of outstanding orders

Skills and Attributes

Junior Commis Chef

Closing Date: 20/08/2017
Salary: £7.50 per hour

Role Purpose
The Junior Commis Chef will support in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by assisting in the preparation of food.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen production areas
  • Assisting in food preparation
  • Assisting in producing menu ideas
  • Serving and preparing meals for the Staff Hub
  • Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
  • Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care
  • Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
  • Reporting any fault equipment to the kitchen manager.
  • Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times.
  • Keeping breakages down to a minimum.
  • Complying with the daily cleaning rotas.
  • Carrying out regular quality assurance audits.
  • Attending company training programmes when required.
  • Accepting food deliveries from suppliers and storing them.
  • Using the correct amount of specialist chemicals when cleaning work surfaces and equipment.

TOOL ROOM OPERATIVE

Role Purpose

The Purpose of the Role is to assist the Engineering team with manufacture of component parts for machinery, and the design and manufacture of fixtures, Jigs and tooling, along with assisting on maintenance and improvement projects as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manufacture new component parts for Hillbrush machinery
  • Modify or Repair component parts for machines and general equipment
  • Design and Manufacture fixtures, clamps, jigs and general tooling for the manufacturing areas. 
  • Assist with any new guarding or general equipment required for the manufacturing departments
  • To support any maintenance and improvement projects required around the business
  • Have knowledge of CNC machining techniques and general machining for Lathes and Mills 
  • To ensure components meet all specifications and quality standards as required
Skills and Attributes

(E = Essential, D = Desirable)
 
  • HND/ City and Guilds Engineering qualification  (D)
  • Relevant Engineering shop floor qualification (NVQ-CNC) or Engineering Apprenticeship (E)
  •  Good general standard of Education (E)
  •  Experienced in Manual Milling and Turning , Precision grinding (E)
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and create drawings from component parts (E)
  • Ability to problem solve with a can do attitude (D)
Significant amount of experience in an engineering tool room environment (E)


Machine Operative – Various Departments

To operate machinery while working in a busy factory environment. Successful candidates will have good attention to detail, work efficiently, be reliable, conscientious and have a positive attitude. Previous machine operative experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Salary: £8.25 per hour (£8.00 during training/probation period).
